Your body isn’t tight.It’s stressed.

The Stretch Loft started from one idea: stretching works when the nervous system feels safe enough to let go. Everything we do follows from it.

The Stretch Loft

Built in Maryland, around one idea

The Stretch Loft is an independent, Black-owned studio with two locations in Maryland: Lanham, serving Prince George's County and Bowie, and Bethesda, serving Montgomery County and Northwest DC.

Most people arrive with pain they have tried everything for: sciatica, a low back that locks, shoulders that never drop. What they find is that the body has been guarding. So we treat stretching as therapy: breath first, then slow, hands-on release, then a plan to keep it.
